Amadeus Wallet Guide

Learn how to set up and use the Amadeus Wallet for the marketplace.

Installing the Wallet

Chrome/Edge/Brave

  1. Visit the Amadeus Wallet Extension
  2. Click Add to Browser
  3. Pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access

Creating a New Wallet

  1. Click the Amadeus Wallet icon
  2. Select Create New Wallet
  3. Set a strong password
  4. Write down your seed phrase (12-24 words)
  5. Confirm your seed phrase
  6. Your wallet is ready!

Warning: Never share your seed phrase with anyone. It gives full access to your funds.

Importing an Existing Wallet

  1. Click Import Wallet
  2. Enter your seed phrase
  3. Set a password
  4. Click Import

Understanding Your Wallet

Wallet Address

Your wallet address is a unique identifier starting with letters and numbers (e.g., 5Kd3N7vW...). This is what you'll use to:

  • Receive AMA tokens
  • Identify yourself on the blockchain
  • Publish agents as a creator

Balance Display

The wallet shows your balance in AMA tokens.

  • 1 AMA = 1,000,000,000 atomic units (9 decimals)
  • Balances update automatically after transactions

Getting AMA Tokens

Testnet Tokens (Free)

For testing the marketplace:

  1. Copy your wallet address
  2. Visit the Amadeus Faucet
  3. Paste your address
  4. Request tokens
  5. Wait for confirmation (~10 seconds)

Mainnet Tokens

For real transactions:

  1. Purchase from exchanges
  2. Withdraw to your wallet address
  3. Allow 1-2 minutes for confirmation

Connecting to the Marketplace

  1. Visit the marketplace
  2. Click Connect Wallet
  3. Approve the connection request
  4. Your address will appear in the navbar

Disconnecting

  1. Click your wallet address in the navbar
  2. Select Disconnect

Making Transactions

Approving Purchases

When you buy an agent:

  1. A transaction preview appears
  2. Click Confirm Purchase
  3. The wallet popup opens
  4. Review the details
  5. Click Sign Transaction
  6. Wait for confirmation

Transaction Details

Each transaction shows:

  • Recipient: Agent creator's address
  • Amount: Price in AMA
  • Description: What the payment is for
  • Fee: Network transaction fee

Viewing Transaction History

  1. Click the wallet icon
  2. Go to Activity
  3. Click any transaction to view details
  4. Click the transaction hash to view on the explorer

Security Best Practices

Do's ✅

  • Store your seed phrase offline
  • Use a strong password
  • Lock your wallet when not in use
  • Verify recipient addresses before sending
  • Keep your browser and extension updated

Don'ts ❌

  • Never share your seed phrase
  • Don't store seed phrases digitally
  • Don't approve suspicious transactions
  • Never send tokens to unknown addresses
  • Don't use public/shared computers for wallet access

Troubleshooting

Wallet Not Detected

  • Refresh the page
  • Ensure the extension is enabled
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting
  • Clear browser cache

Transaction Failed

  • Check your balance
  • Ensure sufficient gas fees
  • Try again in a few moments
  • Increase gas limit if needed

Balance Not Updating

  • Wait 30 seconds for blockchain sync
  • Refresh the page
  • Check transaction status on explorer

Recovery

If you lose access to your wallet:

  1. Install the Amadeus Wallet extension
  2. Click Import Wallet
  3. Enter your seed phrase
  4. Set a new password
  5. Your funds will be restored

Critical: Without your seed phrase, funds are permanently lost!
